You don't need to learn our system.
Start with one company. Understand why it matters, what could undermine the case and which development comes next.
What you've joined
BottleneckAlpha is a research email for self-directed investors who understand big themes but want help finding and following the suppliers underneath them.
We cover AI computing, grid and power, defence, critical minerals, nuclear, digital-dollar infrastructure and robotics. You do not need to follow all seven to use the brief.
Expect at most one email per weekday during beta. The email carries the conclusion; evidence links are there when you want depth. There is no need to log into a dashboard to understand it.
What an A tells you
A · 7–10: Our strongest evidence group. These companies have earned the highest research scores under our documented criteria.
B · 4–6: Companies we are investigating or monitoring whose evidence has not reached the A group.
C · 0–3: Limited credited evidence so far. Low scores can reflect missing information; they are not predictions that a company will fail.
The score measures evidence about a company's position. It does not combine business strength, valuation, financing risk and entry timing into one verdict. Read the case and its limits beside the score.
How to use each brief
What matters
The conclusion first. This should tell you why the company is in the email today.
What tempers the case
The uncertainty or risk that prevents an easy conclusion. A high score does not erase it.
What we're watching next
The next evidence that could strengthen or weaken the case. Dates are labelled as confirmed, estimated or unknown.
Missed a few days?
Start with the next email. Each issue explains its company again. Use the brief library to revisit a name rather than reading everything you missed.
